nube
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (7.1 TrueHD) Level - 4 Stars (111.86dB composite)Extension - 5 Stars (3Hz)Dynamics - 5 Stars (32.25dB)Execution - 5 Stars (by poll) Overall - 4.75 StarsRecommendation - Buy (by poll) Notes: This one surprised me; I didn't remember it being this loud or low. Yet, it really is. Some harshness/clipping in places, but the numbers don't lie - this one's in the big leagues. Shallow rolloff below the big peak at 30Hz, but there are significant effects below 20Hz that really add to the presentation. If you haven't watched this recently, it's worth revisiting if you can stand the so-so MI plot. PvA:
nube
Hahaha here's my post about it on AVS back when I still had the ported 2011 Captivator: http://www.avsforum.com/t/1333462/the-new-master-list-of-bass-in-movies-with-frequency-charts/3180#post_21880446 What a difference sealed subs make! This one sounded like an entirely new movie!
maxmercy
I think it all went downhill after the first film. M:I 2 was so horrible, I lost interest in the series. Good LFE moments, but just not a good film, IMO. JSS
tuxedocivic
Which one had the motorbikes that changed from dirt tires to street tires using magic? That one was the worst. This one I really liked. And I bought it a while ago. 5 stars and buy from me.

MKtheater
This was always a great bass movie and that one scene was so dynamic it scared the crap out of everyone who watched it!
Reefdvr27
I saw this movie on a rainy day at Disney at a eat in theater in DTD. If I remember it was like $150 bucks with lunch of course for the 4 of us. After the movie I could not believe I wasted that much time and money on this, but something different. Luckily it was a good movie. I did buy it, but have not opened it. Gotta check it out again.
