  1. Yea totally dug this one. And the storyline was great IMO! It's a definite re-watch for me, once my family gives it back when they are done with it...
  2. I felt the same with my old RE's. The top end sensitivity is rough on those bad boys to say the least. I had to pair them with the JBL4648's to really get to an overall happy place.
  3. Little shy of 4 feet to the back wall, so I can squeeze quite a few things back there if needed
  4. Well, I actually take that is great news haha
  5. Yea but they are just so FUN! Haha. I agree they aren't necessary, and their largest benefit is when I use them latenight to get a good tactile feel without having the front subs on, as they travel up that wall to the master bedroom and wake the sleeping princess.... Did you end up documenting what the vibsensor was getting at the g2g?
  6. Sounds like you'll fit right in then
  7. I just caught up on this thread. You guys are welcome Haha. Providence I tell ya.
  8. Mmmmmm. Already been shot down on that idea for the den area at my house. Would work great, but I'm not gaining ANY headway with that argument "Apparently" the only room in the house I get to go crazy on is the "Basement" and any additional systems in the house is "Silly," and "We need new windows." or something stupid like that....
  9. Couple of those bad boys are gone by the wayside now! Aura and Ultra... Might could get a little premium on those bad boys. Like the dude on AVS that showed up selling them for $1k per just days after the stock went out at PE Haha. He got steamrolled.
  10. Which is exactly how I have mine set up. Left corinthian is on a single channel of the peavey, Right corinthian on the single channel of the crest, and then the nearfields on the other channel of the crest. Which now has me thinking should I bust out a third amp of some sort for the nearfields, or get a 5500 and bridge the corinthians to 4 ohm mono and call it a day?
  11. That's my exact guess. By process of elimination, and talks with one of the peavey/crest designers, it is the only thing that you could attribute to the shutdowns basically. It ain't line sag....
  12. Great data. Sad for my poor little 7.5
  13. Wait what? You dumping the GH and just going sealed and Othorns? Or adding in the sealed to the 4 total horns? Wild son!
  14. Also, I felt defeated after watching Mad Max yesterday evening. I literally was a little woozy walking up the steps to the bedroom. I also got some really sweet texts from the wife who was attempting to sleep...two floors up. That's how I know its a good bass movie :D Forget speclabs, lol
  15. How? There is not even a home mix available yet. Watching it in the theaters, there is ample opportunity for them to really create something special. They did it right for CATWS, if they continue that trend, it should easily be bass movie of the year.
  16. http://data-bass.ipbhost.com/index.php?/topic/12-the-low-frequency-content-thread-films-games-music-etc/page-20#entry567 That was a great one and your perceptions are spot on. Another one that is just incredible in the deep bass that many people likely miss is Elysium. Watch that bad boy and tell me you don't get some great stuff that registers very low
  17. I was watching Thor 2 last night and it didn't seem near as loud. Where I actually bumped the volume a good 3 dB from where I normally watch movies....
  18. I get away with 125dB of bass on a nightly basis Bosso and Paul will attest, it is perfectly quiet outside my house at those levels so long as all the doors are shut.
