nube
Noah (7.1 DTS-HD MA) Level - 4 Stars (110.68dB composite)Extension - 3 Stars (16Hz)Dynamics - 5 Stars (28.58dB) Execution - 4 Stars (by poll) Overall - 4 StarsRecommendation - Rent (by poll) Notes: Another blockbuster with a rolled off low end. While it's not severely rolled off, the content is centered around 35Hz. There is stuff below that, but it's significantly lower level. And, ya know, a biblical flood movie really should have the super deep bass content. Good visuals, decent audio, so-so movie. PvA:
Basshead81
I gave it 4stars...pretty decent bass flick. Overall not bad of a movie either, it was fun. I watched it @ -4 from reference and the 16hz scenes shook nicely.
Rowan611
4 stars, lots of good bass. Glad I just rented it as I don't think I'd ever watch it again.
nube
I wasn't terribly impressed with it. While it had a fair amount of bass effects, I didn't feel like they were used in a way that added a whole lot to the movie - they could have been employed much more carefully and artfully. This had the visual content potential to be a total bass monster, but turned out to only be OK.
