  1. Commercial subs: JTR Captivator, Orbit Shifter, Seaton Submersive (i know there are variants of all these, whichever you choose) DIY Drivers: Mach5 'Phallus', Aura NS18, SI 24", Dayton Ultimax15 Pro Drivers: AE TD18h+ (hopefully repaired and then fully tested ) Sorry. I know these aren't cheap but these are just things I know I'm interested in that I can think of.
  2. Beeeeecause there is still content that exists that has ULF and there is the umm.... future. Don't write off all ULF in movies from now on all of a sudden.
  3. Impressive charts from Open Range. Always loved it's full bandwidth gunshots and with those dynamics it's easy to see why it's been a long time favorite to those who love sharp, percussive bass.
  4. Sorry. I haven't been voting on the movies I haven't seen and so far, there's been quite a few! Voted for Hurt Locker.
  5. I can mirror what you have mentioned of 'A Good Day to Die Hard'. I am a longtime Die Hard fan and I would recommend renting it first. I liked it enough to own but probably not for others and I would admit it's the worst of the series... so far. Bass and 7.1 mix were outstanding though! Another good mix in 7.1, I love it!
  6. Wow. I totally forgot about Triangle. Definitely should be graphed for the list here. Olympus Has Fallen has got a vote from me to get PvA when you can get it. Early graphs suggests it's a 10-30hz monster.
  7. Wow. It's too bad that in nearly 100% of the time all that content will be filtered out. I know Dave is working on an even more improved bottom end signal chain for his system. Guess he might be the only person on the planet to reproduce that.
  8. That all should sound cool. I still haven't got around to picking up Skyfall. Watched A Good Day to Die Hard. Very good bass! Tons and tons of deep stuff. It's almost everywhere either in the music score or the bombastic 7.1 sound mix. One of the best I've heard and I've heard quite a few of them. The bass signature of this one reminded me a bit of Live Free and Die Hard. It should chart well.
  9. It's a pretty decent demo and an alright movie. Kinda creepy. It doesn't dig deep but man oh man does it deliver in the dynamics. It's one of my go-to's for that. I own it but most would probably want to rent it.
  10. Thanks for the new graphs! Knowing is a good one, ya. It goes from quiet to really frikkin' loud! lol
  11. Thanks for Day After Tomorrow! Surprised there isn't more 10-25hz content. Oh well. That 5hz peak comes from the scene where the UK helicopters get caught in the 'eye' of the storm. Similar to BHD.
  12. I just realized that U-571 is not on this list. It used to and still sort of is a decent bass flick.
  13. Thanks for the Terminators, MM. I'm pretty sure T3 graphs the same on BD as it did on DVD. I wouldn't worry. Also, all the points and scores are spot on for both.
