nube
This is the lowest dynamics score ever. I'm not sure why folks are rating this so highly. It's way overproduced and compressed, just like their music these days. Even liking the band, it's hard to say this was well-executed in terms of bass. mojave
Because it is music and hitting the peak levels much more often, it will have a much different "dynamic range" than movies as measured here at data-bass. The Art of Flight is the only other Blu-ray I see listed with a lot of music and it scored 19.9. However, its individual tracks rank on the TT Dynamic Range meter very high compared to other music. If you use the EBU Tech 3348 document for measuring loudness range, The Art of Flight also measures very well. nube
I get it, I just wasn't very impressed with it. We use .125 second windowing on these measurements.
