  1. The Hurt Locker:

    Level - 4 Stars (111.53)

    Extension - 5 Stars (1Hz)

    Dynamics - 5 Stars (32.08dB)

Execution - Will poll, my vote is 5 Stars, even though it clips (see attached).

    Recommendation - By Poll

This is a great film, and tremendous soundtrack.  The LCRS don't clip as badly as the LFE channel.  It may have been intentional, though.

  2. Also how about to get eachother a favorit bass moment,ONLY ONE AT THE TIME,no lists, and maybe a short comment why you liked it.

If i start it will be Finding Nemo, darlas knocking on the fishtank knocked me off,so unexpected,so clean and so brutally fun, loved it,after this one i started to look into bass in movies and found out that i needed an infra system, happy to have now : ) next one.

  3. I still have to wait until mid July here in sweden to get my hands on OZ (looking forward to it) although by looking at the graphs i know what to expect compared to other movies, the best part is to watch a new movie and all of a sudden you and your body get smacked by some bass (for instance hurtlocker with the .50 Cal scene) then you get curious how they did that and how low did that go (strong 10Hz) if i remember correct,i think those movies with < 20Hz output put an extra dimension to watching them, and i just love it.

  4. Dr.sound if you expanded the bass energy one octave to the left on the OZ chart so we could get some strong output into single digits Hz then it would defenitly be a 5'er,anyway love that you didnt filtered it out (like hobbit) also hope that you will hangaround in this thread for bass discussions on movies, nice to discuss between creator-consumers : ) also two thumbs up for the sound on Drag me to hell,

especially the ghost that travels all around the room 360"

  5. Yup, 30Hz film.  Didn't see the need to graph it, unless requested.
