  1. Thanks for the Ninja graph Maxmercy. I thought I felt that one dig a bit deeper vs part 2, so it is good to get confirmation on that. I thought the overall execution was better in part 2 though as LFE was used a bit more tastefully and selectively.
  2. Ninja Cheerleaders? Not only that, they also have Cheerleader Ninjas! Us guys are screwed if this catches on!
  3. Nube or Maxmercy, was hoping I could make a request to be measured whenever you guys can squeeze it in. Was curious to see Ninja 1 graphed as subjectively it seemed very similar to Ninja 2, but with maybe slightly more extension. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the DiT graph Nube! I have been VERY curious to see how this measured out. While I agree this is a bass assault, I disagree that it was not well designed in light of the film. The movie is WAY over the top and out there, and so is the bass which feels totally appropriate in light of the film and I thought the low end supported things perfectly in light of all that. "Artful" bass in this film would not have drove the over the top plot/action home as well as what we were given, IMO of course (I certainly respect your opinion as well). Throw in one of the better surround tracks I have heard this year and I personally loved this audio experience as it did nothing but suck me into the screen. Thanks again!
  5. I loved FA and also enjoyed TitE. Really enjoyed the bass/audio on FA and is one my favorites this year. Thanks for the graphs Maxmercy.
  6. If you guys get a chance, Frankensteins Army is well worth graphing and putting through the paces here. This track is pure LFE madness!
  7. Agreed. OHF, Oblivion and Kon Tiki are all overall better LFE films vs AE. AE cant compete with Battle LA overall either. AE was a flat out terrible film in my book as well and I almost shut it off a few times watching yesterday it was so bad!
  8. Definitely watch again with your sub on! Great to see the measurements back up my subjective experience the other night. I was VERY impressed with the low end in this film and sound in general actually. The bass/LFE feels like its own character in this one and really helps pull the viewer into the various scenes. The storm sequence is incredible!
  9. Quick question, but what exactly is being done with the Rebass'd graphs? I assume some sort of boosted custom type curve or EQ on the user end?
  10. Thanks Nube and man that is a bummer. The first Trek from 2009 is such a great LFE track as you mention and I was really hoping part 2 would be on par.
  11. Thanks Maxmercy for doing Hellboy 2! Was really excited to see that one tested since it has always been a personal favorite of mine.
