  1. Overall, I found the AQ to be excellent, although I wouldn't have minded just a bit more "oomph" in the LFE department.
  2. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thought that bass was lacking. There should have been HUGE crunching bass when the alphas were battling it out but instead there was "meh".
  3. "Droning" describes much of the LFE pretty well. Overall, though, it was better than I expected, although not nearly: - as plentiful as in T:AoE; or - of as good a quality as in CA:TWS. As for the movie, well, it was pretty dumb.
  4. I haven't enjoyed any of the Transformers movies but this one, surprisingly, was watchable. Part of the credit has to go to the complete absence of Shia LaBeouf. I thought the bass/LFE was great in this movie. There was plenty of it, everywhere I expected it to be...and sometimes even where I didn't expect it (like when Mark Wahlberg slammed his fist on the ground after his daughter is abducted - man, is he strong! ).
  5. Watched it tonight. Great audio! The bass/LFE was very different from "Pacific Rim", which I watched last weekend and whose audio I enjoyed: I thought it was cleaner-sounding, more "diverse" (vs. PR's narrower range of "crunch") and, overall, better balanced. (How's that for a technical-sounding assessment? )
  6. If Godzilla is only "Pacific Rim" bad, I can live with that. But if it's "Sucker Punch" bad...well, that would really suck. I guess I'll find out this weekend...
