tuxedocivic
I almost gave this a 3, but truth be told, when I go to watch this movie, I'm excited about the sound including the bass. So it got a 4 by the skin of its teeth.
nube
I can't argue with a 4. It's effective and, for its time & genre, fairly innovative in its use of low frequency effects. To think, twenty years ago this was pushing the envelope of home theater bass reproduction capability. These days, it's child's play. We've come a long way, baby. maxmercy
Let's not forget that Iron Man and Iron Man 2 (both pretty highly regarded in LF terms) are 30Hz films, 12 and 14 years later....this is impressive for its time. JSS
tuxedocivic
For its time, it's incredible! But not sure that's how it should be rated. I see two other votes for 4 now though, so I'm not out to lunch Great movie, should definitely be in anyones collection.
