  1. Maybe you are right guys, guess it up to max/jss to decide however fantasic job for those who work on the charts : ) Edit: why i put it up is because i feel it can be abit quieet between the charts,so nice to chat about bas betveen those.
  2. Tux.... My intension of this was not to brag about "your" system, feel free to express yourself what you liked in an certain movie, and maybe it will be showed by those who can plot it,im useless with computors so i make a humble/soft approach towards those who can : )
  3. The Haunting dvd dts 5.1 track, the "coming mother scene" those door slams are insane : ) not so low but high peak and extremlly vell performed, tried that one +5 here and got the mob onme : )
  4. Also how about to get eachother a favorit bass moment,ONLY ONE AT THE TIME,no lists, and maybe a short comment why you liked it. If i start it will be Finding Nemo, darlas knocking on the fishtank knocked me off,so unexpected,so clean and so brutally fun, loved it,after this one i started to look into bass in movies and found out that i needed an infra system, happy to have now : ) next one.
  5. Would love to see the movie "Inside" (french dts 5.1) plotted on this forum, watch out for the 4Hz signals : )
  6. FilmMixer. Did you found out anything regarding the lack of bass of the movie "The Hobbit" ? if i recall correctly you were to investgate that in one of the threads at AVS,thanks in advance. Nicke
  7. Sorry guys, but i need to ask what the yellow graph is?? Green is peak/max freq. Red is avarage freq. Yellow is ??? Nicke
  8. I still have to wait until mid July here in sweden to get my hands on OZ (looking forward to it) although by looking at the graphs i know what to expect compared to other movies, the best part is to watch a new movie and all of a sudden you and your body get smacked by some bass (for instance hurtlocker with the .50 Cal scene) then you get curious how they did that and how low did that go (strong 10Hz) if i remember correct,i think those movies with < 20Hz output put an extra dimension to watching them, and i just love it. Nicke
  9. Dr.sound if you expanded the bass energy one octave to the left on the OZ chart so we could get some strong output into single digits Hz then it would defenitly be a 5'er,anyway love that you didnt filtered it out (like hobbit) also hope that you will hangaround in this thread for bass discussions on movies, nice to discuss between creator-consumers : ) also two thumbs up for the sound on Drag me to hell, especially the ghost that travels all around the room 360"
  10. To bad : ( well ok,then we ha to wait for The croods and Epic mrRandy Thom has a finger or two on those ones, first transformer looking forward to it i know i lowed the scene in the end when irondude flips in slo mo,need to re-watch that one : ) Did you know they are working on How to train your dragon 2 will be up 2014,hope Thom and rest of sound crew is back on this one : ) N
  11. Anyone seen/listen to Wreck-it-ralph,curious about that one since Gary Rydstrom is the sound designer, should be some hard hittings in the 30Hz region as usual with G.

  13. Isn't the input level abit low? anyway MK give me a PM with your adress so i can ship a copy of the movie "Inside" with french dts-hd sound to you,it have bass down to 4Hz,im in sweden so it will take some days to be delivered but i guess we are not in a rush for it. Nicke
  14. MK nice work,to bad i cant help you : ( noticed you gonna do the Kremlin scene wanna ask you if you also could do the car crash scene approx 10-15 after kremlin, scared the #### out of me ; ) guess it not so low but very high in peak, kind of darla tapping fishtank (nemo) since it is Gary Rydstrom as sound designer on both, thanks in advance. Nicke
  15. Well i didnt find that one ut myself, useless with computors : ( but hereĀ“s a link for the charts. Link: http://www.avsforum.com/t/1127163/pulse-discrete-channel-waterfalls
  16. Thats only for for the lfe channel, the rest of the channels goes lower and have higher peaks, even the surround channels ; )
  17. Bosso, can only see one pic and guess its when the kettle explodes, typical a gary rydstrom thing check nemo when darla tapping tank, high peak @ ~30Hz very nice though : )
  18. Hey guys,Gary Rydstrom is the sound designer for Brave and Wreck it ralph not Randy thom,Randy will be doing Epic,The croods for 2013,watched httyd again after replacing my amp for the inframoduls and i just love that movie, its filled with lowend/infrabas everywhere : ) doors closing, fly overs and plenty moore,my favorit demo movie so far. Nicke

  20. Excellent, thanks for info. Was curious due to the upcoming test of the movie "Pulse" since it has some nice bass in the L-C-R-S channels that would have gone missing if only meassuring of the .1 channel, now i can relax : )
  21. Maxmercy,i wonder if you monitoring all channels during your tests or is it only the .1 channel? Drive is a nice movie, love the shotgun : )
  22. Would be nice to see the following movies: 1.The Haunting (dts dvd version) (coming mother scene) 2. Pulse (BD) (especially server room scene) 3. Ratatouille (BD) (shotgun lady+lightning strike) 4. 9 (BD) (i realy like the first scene when he walks on the table and sees the professor on the floor, should be 2 deep/soft pulses there+rest of the content in this nice movie) 5. The Hurt Locker (BD) (.50 cal scene is fantastic) Best reg // Nicke
