    I guess that I must be old school because I equate this bogus 'peak power' bullshit with the consumer crap sold at big box stores ending in '-mart'. In order for an amp to get into my rack, it has to be capable of starting and running a 120VAC 2hp air compressor until the tank is full with a 60Hz sine wave fed to the input. BTW. My sub amps are DC coupled so there are no LF response issues. Connecting a 1.5 vdc battery to the input will yield 60 vdc at the output. Output polarity depends on which way the battery is facing.
