  1. Geez Josh, first you mock my company and now you're releasing confidential information. Not cool!
  2. Are you making fun of the business I started?
  3. You're just jealous you didn't come up with that fleecing business idea first. LOL!
  4. Wanna borrow a tent? I'm sure they'd love this particular tent in your neck of the woods.
  5. And then there's Lone Survivor with a 6.x Hz signal 10 dB hotter than the rest of the audio track. Tells me they aren't paying attention to things down there or at least not consistently from movie to movie and engineer to engineer. But then other movies are done well down low; annoying there are stil so many inconsistencies.
  6. Wow. And no offense to the esteemed people on this board but I know some of us have watched some lesser movies IF the audio is good. This one must be really, really bad. Just wow.
  7. Very nice though even better if it was a type of Wiki where the community could keep it updated.
  8. Star Trek:Beyond Though that does bring up a good point, it sure would be nice to have a list of acronyms somewhere as there are many that have stumped me over the years.
  9. The rack mount amps are just a pair of the plate amps in a single enclosure. They are actually completely separate monoblocks, pretty much only sharing the single power plug.
  10. Aww yes, I see it now located on Lisa Bonet's IMDB credits between an after school special and A Different World. Quite the departure, which it seems many child actors try to do to shock people into opening their casting options outside of family oriented movies. It worked. . I guess I need to try to watch it again and as I wondered where I could possibly watch it, apparently the full movie is on YouTube. Having 13 year old, boy and girl twins, it doesn't make me happy that a movie like that is available on YouTube.
  11. Just having some fun and definitely didn't mean anything. Call it a (complete) failed attempt at humor. I was trying to find a movie that I remember watching with my uncle and dad when I was a kid. It was quite the doozy but I can't figure out the name of it. I could have sworn the actress was Lisa Bonet but i can't find anything on IMDB. It was the type of movie where adults would have been squeamish. Didn't negatively affect me but that movie still sticks out as one I probably shouldn't have watched, ever (no redeeming qualities) much less as a kid. But I'm also well adjusted so rap music, (original) Doom, and questionable movies as a kid didn't seem to affect me. (Queue the people I've met in person on here to chime in otherwise...3, 2, 1).
  12. If I knew you better I'd make a not so witty joke about that explaining a whole bunch about you...but I don't know you well enough so disregard.
  13. Haha guys. Thanks. I remember my friend Coach2369 on AVS told me I needed to add John Wick to my demo list (for shows). Needless to say I thought it was an awesome demo for subs but definitely wasn't going on the demo list. Sounds like I'll enjoy DeadPool at home with the wife.
  14. I haven't watched it. Would it be good for shows Nick...ie, violence not too bad and clean language?
  15. Blasphemous! Go wash your mouth out and stand in the corner until you remember everything sounds better with subs.
  16. I was just thinking that today...again. This is an incredibly informative site and I'm appreciative of all of the personal time given to get us good and timely information. Definitely appreciated!
  17. One thing I've learned from Mr. Ricci is to have redundancy in measurements, whether that be two mics, two SPL generators, or two meters. So I'll use the DATS and Woofer Tester and hopefully they will correlate well. If they correlate and measure similarly then I'm good and will have confidence in the measurements. If they differ then I'll have to shoot one of them. Hmmm, reminds me that I haven't been to the range in a while. And you do know a random number generator isn't truly random right? So if your DATS is truly random, then you might have something valuable on your hands. LOL!
  18. Guess I'll need to order the WT2 to go with or replace DATS V2. They really need to update the website as I looked at Woofer Tester but passed on it due to the old website and wondering if it was still supported. Good to know it is good, wish I would have known 6 months ago.
  19. With bigger woofers, you don't have to choose which frequencies to like. But I understand larger woofers aren't for every situation. The fact that you are here and discussing these movies tells me you have one heck of a system so please don't take my comments in any sort of negative light as I definitely mean none. The best system is the one we have, whatever that may be.
  20. I've played the HTTYD Crash scene at Axpona and THE Newport Show on my Mariana 24s and had many complaints from neighbor exhibitors. Actually it was one of my favorites exhibition scenes except for the fact that the whole scene from start to finish was over 5 minutes and at shows, people don't have attention spans that long. That scene is the real deal but it might require a larger sub to be able to reach that depth. I like the OHF Washington Monument scene too but haven't watched Underworld or Titan AE lately.
  21. Let me get this straight, you just bought a Fluke 87V to go with your Fluke 115 and Fluke 117 but haven't ponied up for a DATS system yet? Really?
